Benjamin Tharmaratnam is a highly capable Credit Analyst at Pioneer Loans, where he plays a vital role in guiding clients through the home loan process. Known for his precision and client-focused approach, Benjamin specializes in delivering tailored mortgage solutions that simplify financing and support confident decision-making.

Before relocating to Australia, Benjamin gained over four years of experience at Acuity Knowledge Partners in Colombo, Sri Lanka. During his time there, he built deep expertise in commercial property finance, progressing from Financial Analyst to Senior Associate. His responsibilities included credit assessment, financial analysis, client engagement, and the delivery of customized financial strategies for global clients.

Benjamin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and is a CIMA passed finalist, showcasing his strong foundation in accounting, business management, and financial planning.

With a solid background in finance and a passion for helping clients succeed, Benjamin is committed to making the mortgage journey as seamless and rewarding as possible.

Outside of work, Benjamin is an avid soccer enthusiast who enjoys staying active by playing regularly. He’s also known for his adventurous side—particularly when it comes to food, often taking on oversized eating challenges just for the thrill of it. In his downtime, he values spending meaningful time with his wife, Jithma, bringing the same energy, curiosity, and determination to his personal life as he does to his professional pursuits.
