Sanjaya is a seasoned finance leader with a strong track record in strategic financial management, operational excellence, and sustainable business growth. With deep expertise in financial planning, risk management, and business strategy, he is known for steering organizations toward long-term profitability and stability.

As Co-Founder and Finance Director of Pioneer Business Solutions Pty Ltd, one of Australia’s leading financial services providers, Sanjaya plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s financial direction, driving performance, and ensuring continued success.

Prior to co-founding Pioneer, Sanjaya served as Finance Controller at BorgWarner — a global automotive manufacturer with operations in over 24 countries. His leadership at BorgWarner was key in enhancing financial controls, streamlining operations, and maintaining strong compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Sanjaya is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Australia and holds an Honours degree in Business Administration from the University of Sri Jayawardenapura. His strong academic foundation, paired with extensive real-world experience, equips him with a comprehensive approach to financial leadership and value creation.

Outside of work, Sanjaya is a former basketball player for St. Peter’s College and represented his university on the court. He’s a proud father of two and enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Sue, and their family. A passionate gardener, a loyal Geelong Cats supporter in the AFL, and an avid Golden State Warriors fan in the NBA, Sanjaya brings focus, energy, and a competitive spirit to every aspect of life and leadership.
